Check out Ted Lasso on Apple TV+ over spring break!

Disclaimer: This show is rated TV-MA for language. If you can’t handle that sort of thing, don’t watch.

Released on Apple TV+ starring Jason Sudeikus, Brendan Hunt, Hannah Waddingham, and many more, Ted Lasso is a must watch. Filled with overwhelming positivity, humor, and good messages, this show ensnares its viewer quickly and leaves them begging for more.

My parents had watched it before I had and told me very quickly that they wanted to watch this with me and that they haven’t laughed at a show this hard in quite some time. When I finally got a free moment, I finally took the opportunity to do so. And let me tell you, it was so good!!

Ted Lasso follows American small-time football coach Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikus) who is hired, along with his assistant coach Beard, to coach a professional soccer team in England. Despite having no experience whatsoever with the sport, he jumps right in with immense enthusiasm. Unbeknownst to him, however, the now owner Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) has recently been divorced, after she won the football club in the divorce between her and her cheating, arrogant husband, is bent on destroying the club as it was the only thing her ex husband ever truly loved. Follow Ted as he faces trials and tribulations with a wide smile and manages to surprise everyone along the way.

You will laugh, cry, and curl your first in anger, but that is all part of the unique and wonderful charm of this show. You will start loving certain characters and hating others, but as the show progresses even some of the characters you hate, you will grow to understand and even love.

Personally, I adored this show. The positivity was infectious and is one of the things that I absolutely adored about this show. I don’t often rewatch shows, but I am more than willing to rewatch this one. The characters are wonderful and they brightened up my nights when my parents and I would sit down to watch the show. Currently, there is only one season. But season 2 is in the works and season 3 has been confirmed as well.

Even if you don’t have Apple TV+, it is worth getting it for a month to just watch Ted Lasso.
