Spring break is the perfect time of year when people try to have the most fun with the time they have with the good weather.
When asked about students’ favorite activity to do over the break, some said that they want to simply hang out with family and friends to relax.
“I just want to hang out with my friends and go to my family’s cabin in Blue Springs,” Sophia Christ (’27) said. “Last year for spring break I went to Great Wolf Lodge and it was pretty fun.”
“I usually just sleep and chill out, it’s one of my favorite things to do.” Terre’ll Harris (‘24) said.
Others like to go out and travel all across the globe.
“I’m going to Honduras with my family and my friend,” Riley Casper (‘24) said.
Some students hope to travel to a different country in the future.
Overall, Spring break is a good way for students to unwind and take a break.
“It gives kids a brain break and it takes stress off of school, and it lets me spend time with my family,” Ava Chase (‘24) said.
“Since there’s not really any other breaks we have in this semester, it’s good that we get that break time that we really need from school.” Mailyn Zak (‘27) said.
“I’ve always wanted to go to Venice or Bora Bora,” Christ said. “In previous years I’ve gone to Orlando and Mexico for the break, always spending time with my family. It’s always nice to get away from school and do whatever to chill out.”
