This is how many of Holt’s student athletes feel applying to college, and the pressure can be immense.
It’s a terrifying experience and plenty of our own have something to say about it.
Chase Lasater (‘24) knows he wants to go to college for baseball and finance.
Other students, like Dalton Hosack (‘24), chose their college for more sentimental reasons.
“I really like the coaches. I just felt the most comfortable,” Hosack said.
Gavin Poindexter (’24) said he plans on attending Southern Illinois University Edwardsville for baseball, which he’s loved ever since he was a kid.
