the senior class woke up bright and early to watch the sunrise on their last first day of high school. Many of our seniors shared how they felt and what they are wanting to accomplish in this school year.
Student council and senior class president Sandy Ballinas took us through the ropes on how she and student council president Addison Brune (‘25) planned senior sunrise for our senior class.
“Me and my VP (Addison Brune ) got together looking at designs for the shirts and posters,” Ballinas said.
Ballinas also shares what she wants to make happen for the senior class this year, along with a little advice for the senior class next year.
“My over all goal for the seniors this year is to get them involved and to make their last year their best year,” Ballinas said. “do the things that you want to do because if you look back in the future your going to regret not being involved.”
Gabe Cunningham (’25) shares what the vibe was like during senior sunrise and what he hopes to experience in his last year of high school.
“Senior sunrise was a good experience, and the donuts were good, and i took pictures with my friends,” Cunningham Said.“I hope to have a easy going year, especially with school work, and going to all of the events.”
Not only were the students asked what they want to accomplish during the year, they were asked what are their plans after they graduate. Laine Steinbrugge and Kamara were discussed what they want to do after high school.
“I would like to proceed my education at hampton university to get my masters in biomedical science,” Wash said.
“going to Missouri Baptist to get a business major and to be on the cheer team,” Steinbrugge
The seniors here at holt have a excellent and bright year ahead of them and they will continue to pursue their last year of high school in brilliance.
