The 2024 Holt Homecoming Dance was held on Oct. 5, at 7 p.m. With paper sea creatures hanging from the ceiling by strings and students posing with pool floaties, this ‘Night at the Beach’ was a night to remember.
Abby Alivernia (’25) recalled the night fondly. “It was my last (Homecoming), so I really tried to enjoy the dance more,” Alivernia said. “Dancing, my friends, and listening to the music is more of the best part for me.”
Everyone has their own pre-dance traditions, Michael Cooper (‘25) shared his story about his first year going to Homecoming.Cooper took Sidney Crockett (’25) out for food and photos before the dance. “Before the dance, we went to Heartland park,” Cooper said. “We took a lot of pictures.”
