Clowning Around
Everyone has heard of the recent clown activity in not just Missouri but, New York, Alabama, Wisconsin, South Carolina (where this supposedly started), and multiple other states. People are left terrified from these “practical jokes”.
Social Media has been playing a great part in these clown sightings. People have made clown spotting twitter pages, to share their terrifying clown encounters. Some people have even gone as far as making Instagram pages for local clowns including “The Wentzville Clown” (which since has been deleted), that has been requesting to follow people in the Wentzville School District and made lists of who they were going to find.
The school has not taken this subject lightly, informing parents and teachers that they take our safety very seriously and will have protection in case there is any clown activity on any school campus. In an email sent, they have informed any student to alert the building principal if they hear any alarming threats involving the clowns.
This clown issue has gotten so out-of-hand that the white house has even been informed of the sightings. They have clarified that they are using police enforcement to control the clowns.
There also has been recent talk about the “Clowns Lives Matter”. People have been getting shot or jumped because they decided to scare people in a clown suit. Started by an actual “professional clown” this is supposed to keep clowns safe because “not every clown is a bad clown”. Created by Jordan Jones, also known as “Snuggles the Clown” (no thank you), created a Facebook page called “Clown Lives Matter” to explain that this sightings are ruining clowns reputation (Even though that was ruined in 1990 when the movie IT was released).
In all seriousness, if your idea of a relaxed Sunday evening is standing behind a Club Fitness in a demented clown suit, waiting for people to see you, you’ve got some issues.
