Holt’s Varsity Volleyball team fought valiantly in their match against Timberland on October the 19th. They all were pretty much upset about losing against Timberland.

Ellie Stahl(‘17) said “it was super upsetting, but it gives the other players on the team a chance to  grow, and it lets them know who the real competition is.”  

Another thing that the volleyball players can agree on is that the highlight of the year is “winning conference”, said Rhianon Greiwe (‘17).

New Coach Young is extremely proud of his team “setting a new school record.” Coach Young also says that “since this is my first year here of course it was going to be rough. It will be smoother next year though. I want to take a step farther”.  

Mollie Judge (‘17) said “the highlight of the year was Senior Night”.

Although they lost against Timberland, they still have high hopes for next year. The season was a little rocky toward the end, but they are still happy that they overachieved this year’s goals.
