Internet stars have taken over this generation. Some youtuber names are more known than any celebrity. They sit in their chairs and make millions of dollars. Some people think their professions are not worthy ones. Many people would disagree with statement.

     Youtubers have been there for millions of people who had no one else. Not only have these internet stars made people laugh and cry, they make people feel like they are not alone. People turn on a video, and all their problems disappear. I believe that’s why internet stars are on the rise. Youtubers make videos about almost anything from playing video games to eating their dinner so people won’t eat alone. Personally, I watch many youtubers, and I look forward to turning on one of their videos all day.

     Not only are they making people’s days brighter, they are making the world a brighter place. They do countless charity streams to raise money for many charities. Pewdiepie, known as Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, better known as Pewdiepie, has over 51 million subscribers and have done multiple charity streams. His most recent one raised lots of money for a charity that goes to discover the cause of AIDs.

     His youtuber friends, Mark Edward Fischbach, aka Markiplier or Seán William McLoughlin, aka Jacksepticeye were involved in this live stream and many others of their own.

     Good Mythical Morning or Rhett James McLaughlin and Charles Lincoln “Link” Neal III have also raised countless to charities. Many other youtubers have worked with different charities to raise attention to certain causes.

      Wade Barne aka Lordminion777 is also a big charity streamer. These people and many others take hours of out their day to help in any way they can. They use the platforms they were given to raise awareness for things that are important to them.

     Youtubers also do many things outside of the internet. Many of them have written New York best sellers; an example is Shane Dawson’s I Hate Myselfie or It Gets Worse. They have their own netflix shows, Colleen Ballinger aka Miranda Sings had her very own Show called Haters Back Off which has been approved for a season two. They also host certain events, Liza Koshy recently hosted the Golden Globes. They have been invited to the White House to help the president get this generation’s attention.

     Youtubers are the new celebrities. Some people may think they do it for the money or to get special passes, but personally, I do not believe that. They all felt alone once and would do anything in their power to make sure no one else felt like that, so they turned on a camera. Youtubers are great people who just want to make you laugh.
