Holt Boys Tennis
Spring sports are just beginning and Holt’s student athletes are very excited to start the season. Challenges are taking place so the players can distinguish who is on JV and who is on varsity.
The coach for tennis, Jacob Boling, is ready for the season and has high hopes for his players.
“I plan going winning state and GACs and also plan on send three boys to state”, said Coach Boling.
With the talent this year, success is in reach. Many of the players have been putting in tons of hard work in order to prepare for this tennis season.
With Lake Feldman (’17) and Fletcher Ferguson (’18) leading the team with the top two spots, the team is destined for success.
“We have a solid line up all of the way down, not a single weak link and I think that puts us apart from a lot of scrub teams. Not to mention we have the best coaching staff in the business”, said Jared McClain (’17).
“With a stacked top 12 like Holt possesses, it’s got the ingredients to be a great season”, said Austin Walters (’17).
This year’s seniors plan on making it a memorable season and leaving some pretty big footprints on the court for the underclassmen to fill.
