St. Louis Music Scene Grows with A Scarlet Summer
St. Louis is well known for having a bustling music scene, but the flow of new talent can grow stale from time to time. However, St. Louis natives Asa Wilson, Jay Morgan, Eddie Scalise and Jamison Dietz, promise to breathe new life into St. Louis pop-punk with their new project, A Scarlet Summer. Asa Wilson describes their unique new sound as “integrated integrity driven new-aged rock music, dedicated to reviving the origin of quality music and energetic live performances.”
By bringing new sound to a classic genre, A Scarlet Summer is sure to blow up in the coming summer months. Their next show is approaching quickly on May 13th, as they take the stage at Cicero’s in the Delmar Loop along with Fly Method and Common Jones. Tickets can be purchased from any one of the band members. The boys in the band are growing excited about their future as musicians in the St. Louis area and beyond. A Scarlet Summer is working on going into the studio to record their first E.P. very soon.
The close knit band members rehearse weekly if not more and are writing constantly. This dedication shows in their performance. St. Louis should keep their eye on this up and coming pop-punk act.
