Beauty and the Beast Movie Review
Childhood has leaped off of the paper and onto the live action screen. On March 17, 2017 Beauty and the Beast was released to theaters in the United States, and it was absolutely, positively magical.
Walking into the theaters was a thrill for any original fan, but at the same time a little unnerving. The 1991 creation was a masterpiece, and rising to the expectations would be a tricky feat to accomplish. However as soon as the first chord of the prologue played, all worries were banished from mind, and everyone fell in love.
The film was as stunning in set as it was in character. The town, the castle, even the forest were beautiful, fitting the needs of the performance and story. Everything was so detailed, and intricate, it felt as if the theater was in the set itself. The characters themselves were so well rounded and relatable. Viewers learn more about all the characters, and everyone was given a reason as to why each character did what they did. The costumes were very beautiful and the whole feel of the movie was enchanting.
All in all, most were immensely thrilled with the whole movie. 10/10, 20/10, would definitely recommend to, well, anyone!
