National Library Month

Everyone has been there at least one time in their high school career alone, and it’s got something for everyone; the library.  It has, along with every other one in the country, something for everyone who walks in, so it is no wonder that the library has its own month. April is National Library Month, and Holt High School’s library is celebrating.

All month long there are going to be weekly events. From April 2-6, there will be Breakfast PLINKO. April 9-13 brings visitors as the librarians might visit your class. National Bookmobile Day is the 11th, so they will all be riding in style (or pushing a cart full of books with a horn). As April is also National Poetry Month, there will be poetry stations set up from the 16-20th of April. Finally, on the final week of April, there won’t be just books there, but games out as well!

On top of this, there will be question contests going on all month. Answer a question and get put in a drawing for a prize. Or youth could try and guess has been shredded and put into a jar. Anyone looking for a bit of silly fun can be on look out for some “Tearable Puns”. Just find one and take it to the library for a prize!
