Stuco Volleyball Tournament 18
On April, 28 Holt will be putting on its annual Volleyball Tournament. The tournament is held every year to raise money for our schools Student Council, so they have the funds they need to put on the many great events they sponsor every year. The Volleyball Tournament is a great way to have fun and also contribute to our school and community.
The maximum number of people allowed on a team is 8 (Six on the court at a time), with at least two boys and two girls participating. From April 20- 25 the cost per team is 35 dollars. With many teams of students and teachers playing against each other, it will surely prove to be a great time. The winning team of the tournament will receive a movie themed gift basket at the end of the event. Winners of each round are decided by the best two out of three games. The winner moves on until they are knocked out or win the entire thing, that is pretty self explanatory though.
“The Volleyball Tournament is something that we have been putting on for a while now in Stuco. It is a lot of fun and contributes a lot of the funds we need to keep doing what we are doing in the school. We encourage all people to make their own teams and to try to get their friends without a team to form their own,” said Stuco member, Jessica Rothenberger (’18).
The Volleyball tournament is a great, fun way for all students of Holt to help out their school, and even possibly win some prizes.
