Powderpuff!!!

Every year, Holt has it’s annual Powderpuff game in honor of homecoming festivities. The girls take their turn in playing football and the guys (the junior and senior class) took a turn in doing the halftime dance.

The guys senior class put a ton of effort into their dance. Through all of their hardwork and determination, they were able to impress everyone with their moves. With songs from today and tunes from the past, they put together a routine that everyone will be able to remember.

Like every year, the freshmen and sophomore teams battled it out. Last year the class of ‘21 lost their powderpuff game. However this year,  the sophomore team pulled out the win in the end.

This year, the class of 2019 carried out their tradition. The senior class beat the junior class that night. However, winning in powderpuff is not a new thing to the senior class. Every single year the class of 2019 has been the champion of powderpuff, so of course they had to wrap up their senior year with another win.

“I didn’t like the practices as much as the game and we all kinda forgot what we practiced by the game. Just go with the flow ya know,” said Kennedie Rutledge (‘20).

Congratulations to the senior and sophomore powderpuff champions!
