Glory of Missouri
On October 17th, Missouri awarded its annual Glory of Missouri award. 15 students from WSD were recipients of the statewide award. Five of them were from Holt. Two of the students Derek Pimmel (’20) and Davin Gammill (’23) were recognized for their progress. “I just can’t believe it. I never would’ve guessed that I’d get something like this. I can’t say how grateful I am.” said. Derek Pimmel (’20). A third from Holt, Tre’Shane Stutts, was recognized for his temperance. Grant O’Leary (’20) was recognized for his honor. His brother, Aidan O’Leary (’20), was recognized for his truthfulness.
The Glory of Missouri award is a prestigious award given out by the state. A third from Holt, Tre’Shane Stutts, was recognized for his temperance. They are chosen by the three state representatives, Representatives Bryan Spencer, Bart Korman, and Justin Hill. Each student honored represents one of the virtues of good government engraved on the walls of the House Chamber.
