Students Favorite Subjects
In high school, students young and old have a wide variety of choices in what classes they take. Some examples include musical classes such as band, choir, piano I and II, and guitar I and II. They could also choose a PLTW (Project Lead The Way) class, which includes robotics, engineering, and wood and metal working classes. There are also theatre, business classes, arts, and all sorts of other unique subjects.
Many students have different opinions on which classes they choose and why.
“I really like science, because it relates to my interests in career choice (chemistry) and I find it really interesting,” Caden Henderson (‘23) said.
Students can use what they learn in a class they enjoy in their future lives.
Students wanting to use what they have learned and applying it to a situation gain more from their classes.
“I enjoy math. I like being able to use numbers to solve problems and make sense of things,” Nicholas Sauers (‘23) said.
Students can express themselves through artistic classes.
“I like art because I like to draw and express myself through art,” Megan Roate (’23) said.
“ I like cultural geography because I have friends in my class and I like my teacher.” says Hannah Marie (‘23)
All students are unique. This is shown by how they all like their own unique
classes for their own unique reasons. This also shows how a school having a wide variety of
classes for its students to choose from can improve its quality. Students need special classes for
them to enjoy their school lives.
