A new Netflix original documentary series has recently taken over the United States and some of the world as most are stuck inside at home in quarantine due to the global pandemic of the Coronavirus. The 7-part series is centered around a Oklahoma zoo owner self-named “Joe Exotic” who is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for multiple different charges, most notably being accused of arranging an assination on his self-proclaimed enemy and animal rights activist, Carol Baskins, who is heavily featured in the show as well.

There are multiple big cat owners who have spot features on the show, but none caught the attention of the audience quite like the so called “Tiger King” who actually ran for governor of Oklahoma in 2018 and has multiple music videos on YouTube ranging from 2-7 million views based on the video.

The series which has been viewed in 64 million homes across the world has made most wonder how any of this is possible. The show mainly involves Joe Exotic throwing threats at Carol Baskins, claiming that she murdered her late husband and multi-millionaire who mysteriously disappeared without a trace. Joe Exotic even sent a box full of live snakes to Carol Baskins as a birthday present. While also showing the horrible living conditions the workers and animals were put through, bringing light to the major issues across the country including the sales of big cats to anyone willing to pay the price.

Every episode in this series seems to get more and more crazy as you continue to watch, which could explain why the show racked up 34 million views in the US in the first 10 days after its release. If you somehow haven’t watched this series yet, it’s a must watch and will keep anyone very entertained during this quarantine.
