Turkey Drive 2016 Information

The No Hunger Holiday event is approaching, and Holt High School has participated in it for many years. Most students know it as the Turkey Drive. The event started to help families in need in St. Charles County, beginning in 1990.

No Hunger Holiday is expected to provide full Thanksgiving Day meals to more than 3,000 families. For the past 5 years, Holt has won by collecting the most turkeys among the schools that participated in the competition. To keep the winning streak going, Holt needs students and faculty to participate and bring a turkey on November 16, 2016.

Turkey drop off will be outside of the attendance office at Holt in the morning starting at 6:40 am, up until 8:00 am. All turkeys will be placed on the organization’s truck to be sent off to those families in need this Thanksgiving.
