WSD Film Festival

For the first time ever, the Wentzville School District is holding a film festival for students! This opportunity is open to any student in the Wentzville School District. Yes, that includes elementary schools and middle schools!

There are seven genres of video that students can create which include:

Instructional: a video teaching the audience about something new i.e. a tutorial, teaching tool, or an interactive game with assessment.

Informational: a video presenting a factual view of a topic or issue i.e. documentary, biography, product review.

PSA/Commercial: a video to present an idea, product, concept, organization, or individual in a credible way, so as to change public opinion.

Story: a narrative piece to tell a story i.e. short film, comedy, drama, pieces inspired by novels or short stories and student/family experiences.

News Package: a video presenting a single, original news story with a single individual.

Sports: a video presenting a sporting event, highlight features or sports news and information.
