Simple and Easy April Fools’ Pranks

Bug Lamp Shade

April Fools’ Day is right around the corner, and there’s no time to waste when it comes to planning the perfect prank. Here is a list of some of the best pranks to pull on your parents, friends, and siblings.

Toothpaste Oreos: Simple but effective, this prank is perfect for anybody with a sweet tooth. All you have to do is scrape the normal filling out of the oreo and replace it with minty white toothpaste instead. Then put the cookies on a plate, in a baggie, or back into the original packet and wait for the magic to happen.

Bug Lamps: This is a great prank to give someone a quick scare. Simply print and cut out a silhouette of an insect or bug. Then tape the bug to the inside of a lamp shade, bending the legs for a better effect so it looks like every part of the bug is touching the shade. The cut out bug will look like a real bug crawling inside of the lamp and is sure to give your parent or sibling a jump.

Caramel Onions:  Everyone’s a sucker for a caramel apple, but it doesn’t taste quite the same with an onion underneath the caramel instead. This prank is simple, as long as you know how to make caramel apples. However instead of apples, use onions instead. A harmless prank, but it will leave your friend with a bad taste in their mouth all day.

Nail Polish Soap: Another simple, yet equally frustrating prank to pull on your family. All you have to do is grab a bottle of clear nail polish and paint it onto a bar of soap. Put the bar back in its place and wait until an unsuspecting victim tries to use, but can’t seem to pick it up.

There you have it; a couple of simple and easy ways to get a good laugh on April Fools’ Day.
