Nug Day

Nug+Day

On May, 25 the last day of school, two Holt students are holding a ridiculous competition for a good cause.  John Hirschbuehler (’20) and Alex Meyer (’20) are bringing an eating competition called “Nug Day” to the city of Wentzville. The winner gets a trophy; those who puke or quit, get their shirts defaced, and all the profit goes to a good cause.

Rules: Each participant is given 50 nuggets with a water bottle and sauce. Three hours is the time limit to eat all nuggets. Any method of consuming the nuggets is allowed. Participants cannot puke throughout and after they finish, they must keep it down for 10 minutes.

Admission: To participate, give Hirschbuehler and Meyer 25 dollars before April, 20. You can find them before school in the library. 25 dollars gets you your nuggets, a t-shirt, water and sauces.

What for: The winner of the competition (the one who finishes fastest without throwing up) is given a trophy. Those who finish, but do not win, simply lose. However, if you puke or cannot finish, your t-shirt will get defaced. All the profit after all expenses are paid, will be donated to charities in the United States that fight homeland obesity.

Remember to turn in your 25 dollars to John Hirschbuehler or Alex Meyer by April 20 if you wish to participate in this hometown eating showdown.
