On November 1, Holt’s varsity soccer team traveled to Timberland to play them in the district championship. After an amazing  regular season, with a record of 21-5-3, the soccer team fought their way to a well deserved district win, beating their rival Wolves 2-0.

“It’s very exciting that we worked so hard to get here and I’m happy that I could play an important role in getting us the District Championship,” said Nick Thomas (’20).

Holt is no stranger to being with a starting line-up of mostly seniors. It is a fitting swan song for them to be making an impressive state run in their final season of being Indians.

“I’m excited to play as many games and make the season last as long as we can,” said Sam Rowan (’19).

Holt goes on this week to play Christian Brothers College on November 6 at CBC to try to advance further in sectionals. Great job, and good luck to Holt Soccer.
