The Many Clubs of Holt

Associate Student Council

Associate Student Council (ASC) is a club created to allow students to help Student Council with Homecoming, Powder Puff and all future events. Members will work to improve the community and cooperate with StuCo members to better Holt.

Theatre Club

Theatre Club is a club that allows students to experience the theatre lifestyle, but does not require the level of dedication a Thespian must have. It is a great way to become familiar with what it means to be a Thespian and serves almost as an “intro course”. Fun, laid-back and social, Theatre Club is definitely the club for anyone interested in drama.

Foreign Language Clubs

A great way to become more involved with the foreign languages offered here at Holt. Between German, Spanish and French Club, students can choose the culture they wish to explore and go to monthly meetings with other kids who have the same passion for the class and language.

Gender Sexuality Alliance

Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) is a safe place for an organization of students from diverse backgrounds, wishing to teach others about who they are and that everyone has the right to be who they are.

Scholar Bowl

Like trivia on steroids, Scholar Bowl is for students who want to show what they know. The questions are hard, but there is a lot to be learned. Exploring categories like math, science, English and history, teams “buzz in” answers against other schools and try to get the most questions right in order to win.

Educators Rising

A club for students who want to explore professions in the educational field. What better way to become a teacher than to learn from a teacher? Other jobs involving the educational setting are explored as well.

Key Club

A service club that works to help the community and others around them. They meet monthly to put on service projects and discuss ways to help people around the school and their community.

Audacious Authors

A club designed to improve writing skills, while sculpting creativity through means which are not always given in the classroom setting. This club is not limited to any form of writing, such as writing literature.  Writing can be created through many means, such as music, painting, public speaking, short stories, poetry, and many other forms.
