One song that can be considered to be one of the most well known Christmas songs, is Rudolf the Rednosed Reindeer

Nearly everyone has been excited for this upcoming holiday season, and one of the main ways people are showing their excitement is through the Christmas/holiday music. This always starts the discussion of favorite songs and what is the worst or overplayed song.

By far, one of the most liked and most hated songs is all “I want for Christmas is You”, by Mariah Carey, there seems to be a lot of varying opinions. Most people said that they liked the song because it was catchy, fun, and always put them into the christmas spirit.

“I like all I want for Christmas is you because it’s super catchy, terribly positive, and makes you have a warm fuzzy feeling inside,” Emily Teismann (‘21) siad.

On the other hand, people who said they did not like the song, said that it was overplayed, annoying and super overhyped. http://www.tbcredit.ru/zaymyi.html

“I don’t like all I want for christmas is you, I hear it at the grocery  store I work at about four times a day,” Wyatt Brewer (‘21) said.

Another song that people did not seem to like was a song called, “Dominic The Christmas Donkey”, which is a song that is not super well known, but apparently annoying enough to make people upset.

“I hate Dominic the donkey because it is super repetitive and annoying, and it has my name in it,” Dominic Chompress (‘24) said.

On a more positive note, one of the most popular songs seemed to be Christmas song, it does not matter who is singing the song, many people love it no matter who is singing it.

“I love that song that goes “chestnuts roasting on an open fire” it has that nostalgic feeling Christmas always gives me,” Kassidy Henery (‘23) said.

Whether someone loves all the songs mentioned, or hates them, one simply cannot deny the joy and comfort that they can bring during this time of the year.
